Since our establishment in 2020, DDC has been a vibrant part of the local arts community, offering high-quality dance education to students of all ages and skill levels.

Mission

Delta Dance Connection is a non-competitive dance studio located in Delta Township. We provide quality developmentally appropriate dance education with a focus on artistic expression taught by degreed and professional instructors.

Vision

Our curriculum is based on a conceptual approach to dance technique that builds strong foundational skills thus equipping children to excel in dance, school and life. We serve ages 18months-adult by offering multiple levels and genres of dance including opportunities for community performance and engagement through our Dance Company.

Curriculum

Each class takes a conceptual approach to learning dance technique. What is a conceptual approach to dance? This means that every three weeks each class explores one of the 15 dance concepts (created by Anne Green Gilbert) and how they apply to different aspects of their technique and artistry.

When we understand and incorporate these concepts into our dancing, the connection between our mind and body grow. Our movement develops clear intent and becomes more expressive. 

We aim to make high-quality dance accessible to all families in our community.
