Connecting Community Through Dance

Dance classes focused on creativity, collaboration, and building connections. Our approach to learning helps students develop as dancers, creators, and collaborators.

New Location Coming Soon!

We are SO excited to announce that we will be opening our very first brick and mortar dance studio!! Our new home will be located at 6540 Millennium Dr. Suite 100 Lansing.

With a grateful and excited heart we are thrilled to have a new space of our own for our continually growing program where we will be able to offer more to our amazing Delta Township and Greater Lansing communities!

Degreed + Professional Teachers

All of our instructors hold degrees in dance, dance certifications, or equivalent professional dance experience and higher level training.

Learn more than just steps

In each class dancers focus on a broader dance concept. They then apply this concept to their technique and artistry. When students understand and incorporate these concepts into their dancing, the connection between their mind and body grow.

Introducing THREE levels of Dance Company!

This is a non-competitive performance dance company. Three different leveled companies. A year-long commitment for dancers ages 6-18yrs who are interested in more in depth training, more performance opportunities, and a team-like environment.

Our focus is on artistic expression and fostering community

What Makes Us Different

  • Dedicated Dance Curriculum

Our dance program offers more than just steps. Our curriculum is designed with a cohesive approach based on Anne Green Gilbert's method. We teach our students concepts that will build on each other as they grow as dancers, artists, and human beings.

  • Degreed + Professional Instructors

All of our instructors hold degrees in dance, dance certifications, or equivalent professional dance experience and higher level training. Collectively our staff has trained in dance at LCC, Western Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University and Oakland University. DDC teachers are also teaching at respected places such as Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Riverwalk Theatre and The Wharton Center for Performing Arts.

  • Non-Competitive

DDC is a non-competitive dance program. Our classes and company are geared towards students who are interested in getting high-quality dance education without the competition aspect. The DDC Dance Company performs at community events, festivals etc and allows for community engagement opportunities.
