  • How do I apply for a financial scholarship?

    All interested families can apply for a financial scholarship via the online application here. Please allow 7-10 business days for your application to be reviewed. If you have not heard back in 10 business days please reach out to shannnonsimondance@gmail.com to make sure the form was submitted correctly. Applicants will be contacted via email with the final award and decision.

  • Can I receive financial scholarship for multiple classes?

    Yes. Scholarships can be used for dancers interested in joining multiple classes in a season or session. Awards may range up to 50% off tuition.

  • If I received a financial scholarship in a past season, do I need to reapply?

    Yes. All families, new or returning, will need to submit an application for each dance season. This year our application is via the online form here.

  • What if I do not qualify based on my household income?

    Delta Dance Connection recognizes that the past few years has presented many financial challenges for our community. We believe dance should be accessible to everyone. We encourage all interested families to submit an online application and include a brief statement explaining circumstances and any pertinent financial information that will assist our committee in its decision.

  • Should I enroll in a class before applying for a scholarship?

    We recommend applying for a scholarship first, before registering for any classes.

  • How are scholarship awards decided?

    After submitting your application and pertaining documents, your application will be reviewed by staff. We are committed to considering all circumstances when awarding financial aid. Scholarship awards will be based on need first, and the amount of DDC scholarship funds available second.
